Katherine Kennedy is the Director of the Howard Thurman Center for Common Ground at Boston University. Early in her career, Kennedy established a minority journalism program at the University of California, Berkeley and was an executive with the National Football League. While a reporter with the Boston Globe, she received the Pulitzer Prize for Meritorious Public Service for reporting on the Boston busing crisis of 1974. Prior to her appointment as Director of the Howard Thurman Center, Katherine Kennedy worked in Boston University's Office of Development and Alumni Relations.
